The End Is Nigh.....

To quote Tom Reynolds:

Fuck.

This is ridiculous. Any readers of previous post here will know how I feel about copyright infringement. In effect them wankers of the US Supreme Court have just effectively ruined their last chance of trying to stop illegal file-sharing with the backing of the public. In that sense it is a good thing as they will lose the support of the public.

Im pissed by the fact that anyone with the gall enough to stand upto these bastards will sit back down. The courage people have in the US, a very powerful place online, to stand up with the 'Information-Wants-To-Be-Free Generation' is about to go down the loo.

Anyone else see the US in 20 years what China is now? I DO.

Now I'm bitter because they are making the creator's of the software used illegally but that has a legitimate purpose open to be sued by every Tom, Dick and Harry out there in the ever so rich world of Hollywood. Shit. Shit, shit, shit. Fucking Shit.

The media and software mogul's of the 'free market economy' are trying to control the world. [take on Bill Gates esque voice:]

Senator: So Mr Gates, when did you realise you were creating a monopoly?

Bill Gates: Monopoly is a game Senator, I'm trying to control the fucking world! Cant you see? Its all Windows Millenium, Windows ME. Its all information technology, IT. Then it will be total information technology, TIT. And when your sucking on the TIT, I have you by the motherboard!

Copyright Theft

A report by 2 University professors has announced that the messgae that downloading copyrighted material is theft is not getting through to the general public. You can read the article from the BBC here. I am not surprised by this. I myself may have downloaded material off the internet that may have been copyrighted but I dont care to be honest. I dont agree with the actuall act of pirating or stealing but once it is on the net it is in the free domain. I'm sure Ive mentioned my views on this before.

They moan so much about how much money the industry is losing and how much it is affecting them. Has anyone seen and effect of this? Any mass lay-offs at MGM or Time Warner? No. Why? Because they are exagerrating. Or, the more low brow option, Complete Bollocks.

One Solution Perhaps?

Ive been watching House of Tiny Tearaways, a show on BBC3 about children that are demons. In one family the parents do nothing but bicker and argue and they are really annoyiong me. This is causing the trouble with their children. I have their solution.

Boring

Only at reading my last post just after I had written it did I realise how little I did today to make me tired. The cause of my tiredness is also the reason why for all the exercise. I admit I am overweight. Quite seriously. I am trying but its difficult to lose the weight. It gets easier they say. I need to find that out for myself yet.

Knackered

My God today was knackering. For the 9th day running i've been up at the crack of dawn for one reason or another. Today was the worst after getting up yesterday at 6am for the laundrette, here's my day:
0700: Out of bed in a half-gone state.
0730: Jogging in the park.
0815: Cleaning kitchen.
0900: Leave for mile walk to swimming baths.
0930: Swimming until- 1030
1100: Mile walk home.
1130: Spend 3 hours tyring to sort the HDD on my laptop the bastard, Grrr.
1430: Cleaning living room.
1530: Trip to local shops.
1630: An hour playing my new Fire Wrrior game.
1730: Start preparing tea. Spaghetti Bolognese for the MRS and Chille-con carne for me. Yummy.
1830: It was yummy. Indeed.
1930: Go out skating after putting up with half hour of the soaps. Ugh. The soaps.
20:00 Discover that 30 minutes vigorous skating makes you feel tired as though you have run a mile. Which is quite good as I hate running. Especially for a mile.
20:45 Typing this.

Plans for next couple hours.

2100: Shave head and face, im looking a bit on the grizzly side. Grrr again.
2130: Shower and proper shave.
2200: Bed for another 3 day stint at work.

Liz Hurley Judging Others

Liz Hurley was in the media today saying in an interview that overweight people make her want to be sick and that only skinny people should wear nice clothes. I am overweight. How dare that skinny arse bitch tell me what I can and cannot wear. She is turning into a fat-phobic combination of trinny and susannah. If they told me what I should and shouldn't wear I would kick them in the face. Has anyone seen how fucking atrocious they look when they are in public? I severely doubt their 'qualifications' as fashion guru's when the look so pissing awful.

Why?

In-keeping with the theme of my previous post I would like to pose a question to anyone who may read this.

Does this NOT come as a shock to anyone else? I have long suspected such happennings within China'a borders and the only thing that shocked me is the fact that the footage got out.

Any comments please feel free to leave below.

Restrictions of Free Speech

Those bloody communists have done it again. Resticting the free speech that is part of our basic human rights. Restricting what people can say on the internet which is in essence the ultimate free domain is an infringement of basic human rights. I fully support Reporters Without Borders and all those Chinese super geeks who are getting past their bastard governments block restrictions and prohibitory bans. It just riles me so much when a totalitarian government try to control what is not theirs to control. The state of freedom people have in Asia and the Middle-East to express themselves is apalling and I for one cannot wait until they see they have no choice but to let people speak freely.
